children still need to learn how to create their authentic selves."

Why This Camp?

The most important skills in the AI age are the most human ones.

Creativity

Improv teaches children to think quickly and create something original from nothing.

Self-Confidence

Stepping on stage, speaking up, being seen — these experiences build unshakable confidence.

Communication

Bilingual drama immersion makes language learning a real and natural form of emotional expression.

Teamwork

Group rehearsals teach children that the best work comes from collective effort and mutual support.

Emotional Intelligence

Through role-play, children learn to recognize, understand, and express their emotions.

Stage Presence

Real stage experience — not just rehearsal, but a journey of self-discovery and growth.

Traditional Drama Camp

Teaches kids "how to perform" — memorize lines, hit marks, follow directions.

FMAE Creative Drama Camp

Helps kids "discover themselves" — express emotions, build relationships, create authentically.

Program Highlights

Four pillars of creative drama training.

🎭

Improv Training

The heart of the program. Children learn quick response, deep listening, and free creation.

  • "Yes, And" — accept and build on others' ideas
  • Frozen Improv — instant scene creation
  • Emotion Switching — shift feelings on cue
  • Character Creation — become someone entirely new
  • Mirror Exercise — build deep connection through movement
🎡

Voice & Music

From breathwork to ensemble singing — discover the music inside every child.

  • Breath and voice warm-ups
  • Rhythm and beat exercises
  • Group singing and harmonies
  • Emotional Singing — convey feelings through song
  • Classic "The Sound of Music" numbers
🌍

Bilingual Immersion

Chinese and English naturally woven into every scene, song, and game.

  • Bilingual dialogue and lines
  • Language used authentically, not memorized
  • Cross-cultural musical expression
  • Barrier-free stage communication
πŸ’›

Emotional Growth

Daily sharing circles and guided emotional exploration.

  • Safely naming and expressing feelings
  • Building trust within the group
  • Facing fears on a supportive stage
  • Daily Sharing Circle — opening up
  • "My Bravest Moment" / "My Scariest Moment"
